The Progressive Education Society was founded in June 1986 (Regd. No F/1820). The Managing Directors foresaw an exclusive educational system for the masses in and around Nashik Road area where education would be imparted in totality with no bureaucratic interference and meant for all, irrespective of caste, colour, creed. It is situated on a spacious campus just three kms from Nashik Road Railway Station and Bus stand. It is easily accessible and within city limits.
At present there are about 3000 plus students studying in the school from Pre-primary to Std X. Students are trained for Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate Examination. Over the years, the school has been getting excellent results in all kinds of competitive exams and finding places in SSC Board Merit list.
At K N Kela School, every effort is made to mould the minds of the students, to learn, to apply, to analyse, to build up their personalities, to be caring, to be ethical and to be a true complete world citizen.
We frame our syllabus to include both formal and informal systems that makes learning a delightful, fun loving experience in an atmosphere full of care and concern.
